Whether you’ve owned your static caravan for years or have only just picked up the keys, there’s always something useful to learn.

It might be a little job you hadn’t thought about, a question you’ve never quite found the answer to or a tip from another owner that makes you think, “I wish I’d known that sooner!”

Through SHORE, we want to bring more of that useful know-how together, helping you keep your holiday home in lovely condition and enjoy coming back to it, season after season.

New to static caravan ownership?

Join SHORE and feel at home

There’s plenty to get excited about when you first become an owner. Making it feel like yours, planning your visits and getting to know the park.

Along the way, you’ll get to know the practical side too. What needs checking, how the different systems work and what to do when you leave it empty for a while.

You don’t need to learn everything on day one. Having somewhere to find clear information and knowing who to ask can make all the difference.

We’re building SHORE with that in mind: useful hints, things worth thinking about and connections to local services when you need a hand.

Been a Static Home owner for years?

You'll love it here!

You’ll probably have your own routine by now, from opening up at the start of the season to putting everything away before winter. You know the drill inside out!

But even experienced owners come across something new. A better way to look after the decking, a reminder about a seasonal check or an explanation of something that’s always puzzled you.

We’d love SHORE to be somewhere you can keep learning and sharing the little know-hows that have helped you along the way.

Looking ahead to winter

When it comes to that time where the summer memories have been made and the season winds down, it’s worth thinking about how your caravan will spend the quieter months.

You want to close the door knowing you’ve prepared it properly, then return to somewhere that feels fresh, cared for and ready to enjoy again.

Winter condensation is one subject we’ll be exploring. Understanding how moisture builds up, why ventilation matters and what to consider before leaving your caravan unoccupied can help you make sure you've made all the provisions to keep your caravan safe and sound throughout the colder months.

We’ll also be looking at the questions owners often have around closing up for winter, from protecting water systems to looking after soft furnishings and arranging the right checks.

The right approach will depend on your caravan and your park’s requirements. Our aim is to help you understand what to ask and when to bring in someone with the right experience.

Useful information without the fuss

As SHORE grows, we’ll be adding hints and tips around the things that matter to owners: seasonal preparation, everyday care, condensation, cleaning and getting ready to open up again.

We’ll keep it clear and down to earth, with practical topics you can come back to when you need them.

And because sometimes you’d rather have someone take care of a job for you, we’re also building connections with businesses offering local static caravan services.

Get more when you're part of SHORE

SHORE brings together a growing owners’ circle, useful information and exclusive member benefits, starting on the Lincolnshire coast.

Over the winter, we’ll be developing the club and adding more for owners to enjoy ahead of the 2027 season.

You can join now as a Founding Member for £25 for your first year, then £29 a year on renewal, and receive your exclusive SHORE card to use with the member offers already available.

Whether you’re learning the ropes or know your caravan inside out, we’d love you to be part of it.

Here’s to looking after the place you love, and having plenty more happy seasons at your happy place on the coast.
